Farm cat leaving the tree because the birds won't come where she can catch them witout the leaves on the tree. Lean times are ahead for Gypsy but she will be fine. She will just have to eat more cat food now insteand of the natural menu.

Mirage and Meezie have all of a sudden taken an interest in my warm body! This is one of my favorite things about cattitude. It gets warm they go away from me, It gets cold they become new appendages to my body and each other!

Weather finally broke!

I am so happy about this I got in two nice Cowboy rides this weekend! I am a little sore this morning because you have to keep moving this time of year because of the bugs but i'll get over it as usual. It's hot again today with storms hanging overhead but fall is coming and it is my favorite time of the year!

Kind of gives me a claustraphobic feeling? I hope all of this is not a trick to distract our attention while they do something else that is really horrible. I feel like ww 3 has started, I wish it would stop! The cats seem to be handling it just fine! Between them and the rain it makes me just want to take a nap and forget about it! Think I will but I won't miss tonight's cat chats!

Hi there! We are starting a 3 to 4 day heat wave today. Tomorrow they are predicting real temps. of 105 and a heat index of 113. I am not going to fight this, I will just have to be in the ac or in water and maybe by next saturday when it is supposed to break I can get a cowboy ride in? After this 90 degrees will feel like a cool spring day. Here is a picture that might produce some cool thoughts:

I thought I would make this easy to start by posting a few pictures that reflect my interests. This would have been a good idea if I hadn't posted 3 each of the 3 I wanted. Well I will learn. The 2 cats are Mirage and Meezie. The horse is Cynful Cowboy who I part lease with some other middle aged women for trail riding. And the ocean picture is just to relate nature and life.
